Mrs. Hilda Alma Bratby Shertenlieb, 80, who went by “Alma,” was born near Bournemouth England, and was a resident of Mears for many years, passed away Aug. 13, 2018.
She was much beloved and will be remembered for her Christian qualities.
Surviving are her children, Elena Milito-Pingitore, Lisa Milito-Holden, and Sandra Milito; grandchildren Le’a Ewell, Michael Milito, Andrea Milito, and Ashley Stevens; great-grandchildren, Gabriel Bradley, Alexandro Pace, William Wright, Malachi and Mia Cropper; and greatgreat-grandson Milo Milito.
Mrs. Shertenlieb is also survived by one sister, Joan Harvey, and her children, Denise Weber, Joanne Odom, and Michael and John Harvey, and a few dear friends that will also miss her.
She was predeceased by her son, Peter Milito, granddaughter, Chelsea Hunglemann, and husband, Vito Milito. She was attending the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses and contributing to the worldwide work. Memorial donations may be made at www.jw.org
Mrs. Shertenlieb was a simple lady who loved to draw, loved animals, helping others, and reading her Bible. She believed in the resurrection onto a paradise earth in the near future. She will be asleep until Jesus calls her to awaken to that paradise. Revelation 21: 3,4.
