Virtual Celebration of our 50th anniversary, “Giving Thanks for 50 Years.”
December 10, 2020 - December 17, 2020
(subject to change) Starting on Dec 10th, and continue until Dec 17th. Our virtual event will feature a tour of the Museum, a silent auction, goodies for sale such as hand-made Gnome ornaments, “The Year We All Stayed Gnome” Aprons, Trivets & Museum memberships, as well as new and choice items from our gift store.
Last but not least, we will offer pre-ordered, homemade, boxed baked goods produced by a pretty little elf named Melissa Pirkle. Petit Fours, Whoopie Pies and various bags of cookies will be offered for pick up or delivery. Ms. Pirkle must have a secret ingredient, trust us they taste magical. Our committee had the job of taste testing, and my oh my are they ever delicious.
The Eastern Shore Post is the only locally owned newspaper on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. It is published each Friday and 12,000 copies are distributed free to readers at hundreds of locations from Pocomoke, Md., and Chincoteague, Va., to Cape Charles, Va. Subscriptions are mailed every FRIDAY. They are sent via first class mail. The cost for a one-year subscription is $160; a six-month subscription is $85.
Our staff will contact you for payment, or call 757-789-7678 during business hours, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday – Thursday, and 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Friday.
