The ESAL members are showing their best works at the main room of HOS. HOS hours are Monday through Friday 10 – 5 and Saturday 10 – 1. A 2nd Friday reception is set for October 11 th from 5 – 8 p.m. This Gala will feature wine, hors d’ oeuvres and music from acoustic guitar player Dade Walker, a student of Arcadia High School. In addition, First, Second and Third Place for both Peoples’ Choice and Artists’ Choice as well as Best of Show will be awarded the same evening. All members of the public and local artists are encouraged to come and cast their votes. All works of art are offered for Sale. The show will be open through November 25 th . A holiday exhibit is planned for December 5 th through the new year.
The Art League is a 501 -3(c) organization with 130 members representing a broad range of visual arts from oil paintings, watercolors, drawings, fabric art, sculpture, pottery, wood carving and other fine arts and crafts. The mission of the organization is to promote the visual arts on the Eastern Shore. Exhibits and Workshops are open to the public, The League supports art students as well as co–sponsoring with the Arts Council of the Eastern Shore (ACES) a Student Art Show every Spring. Many members are also teachers, sharing their knowledge of the arts with students of all ages. HOS room 104 is home to the Art
