Science and Philosophy Seminar of the Eastern Shore of Virginia has scheduled its next seminar, “Shore U—What Next?” The free 90-minute seminar will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, December 3 in the Room 113 of the Academic Building of the Eastern Shore Community College, 29300 Lankford Hwy, Melfa, VA 23410.
Kristine Marcy and Ed Murdy will summarize the efforts since 2018 of the University of the Eastern Shore of Virginia Foundation to promote a 4-year institution (Shore U), including recent activities with VCU, and discuss and invite inputs about plans for the future.
Marcy is a semi-retired Federal executive; Murdy is a retired National Science Foundation official. Both live on the Shore.
