Low Country Shrimp Boil

The menu features the famous Alabama shrimp boil recipe — shrimp cooked with red potatoes, special “Old Timer” smoked sausage shipped in from Alabama, corn on the cob, onions and peppers. Accompaniments include homemade coleslaw, rolls, dessert, and beverages, with wine and draft beer available. Food served from 5 – 7. All enjoyed with live music by the local Corn Funk Revue Band. There will be a Silent Auction in the adjoining Bloxom Station Building (donations welcome) and the traditional 50/50 raffle. Tickets are $50 (2019 CCHS members can purchase 2 tickets at $40 each) and $25 for children 7 to 12, (under 7 free). They will be available by cash or check from Periwinkles in Cape Charles, or by credit card from our website – www.capecharlesmuseum.org.
