Holiday Happenings at Chincoteague Cultural Alliance

CoffeeOn Saturday, December 14, the Chincoteague Cultural Alliance hosts two holiday events at 6309 Church Street.  In the morning, the annual Holiday Cookie Sale offers a wide assortment of delicious cookies made by volunteer bakers.  Fill a box with your choices and buy them by the pound. The sale is from 11 am to 1 pm.  Come early for the best selection and don’t forget that homemade baked goods make great gifts. Proceeds benefit the CCA scholarship fund that supports Chincoteague high school graduates.
In the evening, get in the spirit at the Island Coffeehouse featuring a mix of familiar and eclectic holiday themed music from around the world.  Enjoy four musical acts: Ric Rose, Greg Shupe and Duane Geruschat, Ron Cole, and Briar and Bramble: the Patch Brothers starring John Beam and John Tavolaro with guest singer Billie Dayton.
Doors open at 6:30 pm. Admission is $8 or $5 for students 18 and under.  Beer, wine, soft drinks and snacks are available.
