Ecumenical Way of the Cross

Baptist, Catholics, Episcopalians, Methodist, and other denominations will come together on Good Friday.
Through art, song, scripture and prayer, we will follow the suffering Christ on His path to His final sacrifice on the Cross. The reason for reviving the practice of making the Way of the Cross as it is a powerful aid for the Christian as they enter into the mystery of Jesus’ gift of Himself.
On Good Friday, we will take these 14 events into the Cape Charles Central Park where as a family of Christians we will follow in the footsteps of Jesus. We will come to the park as a divided Christian Church but hopefully will see that we share a common faith. Everyone is invited to be a part of this ceremony as we celebrate the Passion and Death of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and await his triumphant Resurrection on Easter Sunday.
