“Eastern Shore Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation”
TUESDAY: November 12, 2019, beginning at 7:30 pm
TOPIC: Learn about the work of local wildlife rehabilitators, including recent release of
bald eagles.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS:
Two magnificent bald eagles were released at Accomack’s Mutton Hunk Fen Natural
Area Preserve on August 23, 2019, a collaborative success between the internationally
acclaimed Wildlife Center of Virginia and a local group of volunteers with Wildlife ER.
Grueling work goes into every successful capture and release of injured wildlife. Come
meet some of the dedicated folks with Wildlife ER. Learn about the types and numbers
of animals they help, and the stringent requirements to do this work legally. Learn more
