Local musicians Owen Hooks and Thom Nolan are performing at the Chincoteague
Island Theatre Annex on Monday, July 22, at 7 pm. as part of the series of
programs, “Monday Nights at Main and Mumford”.
Usually heard as part of the Irish/Celtic trio, “3 Sheets”, Hooks and Nolan will
offer a very different program for this performance – an evening of old and
contemporary ballads that’ll come with a large dose of humor and banter. Hooks
will also draw on years of his personal experience with Chincoteague ponies as he
tells stories about ponies he’s owned and the round ups and auctions he’s
experienced.
This program is made possible through the generous sponsorship of the Eastern
Shore Post newspaper.
The Chincoteague Island Theatre Anne is at 4076 Main St. Admission is $5, and
there will be a cash wine and beer bar. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
