STORYTIME: 10 a.m., Chincoteague Island Library, Chincoteague. Tales 4 Tots features stories and activities for children from ages 2 to 5. This week’s topic will be the Chincoteague Bay Field Station.

CHILDRENS PROGRAM: 10 a.m., Christ United Methodist Church Social Hall, Chincoteague. Young Explorers is a Chincoteague Island Library program for children age 5 and up. This week children can learn about the Virginia Spaceport Authority.

FARMERS MARKET: 3 to 6 p.m., Farmers and Artisans Market at the Marina Club parking lot at Captains Cove, 3323 Dock Court, Greenbackville.

NATURE PROGRAM: 4 to 5 p.m., Cape Charles Beach, Cape Charles. Creature Catch ID and Release is an all-ages, hands-on program where representatives from the Virginia Coast Reserve will cast a seine net, pull it in, and discuss the amazing Chesapeake Bay creatures that can be observed before the creatures are released back into the water.

CHILDRENS GARDEN CLUB: 5 to 6:15 p.m., New Roots Youth Garden, Cape Charles. Children ages 5 to 13 can join this weekly garden club for hands-on learning and garden activities. Healthy snacks will be served. Closed-toe shoes are required.

TEEN CREATIVE WRITING: 5:30 p.m., Eastern Shore of Virginia Regional Library, Parksley. The discussion at this month’s Teen Creative Writing meeting will be character point of view and distinguishing voice.

TRAINING: 6 p.m., Eastern Shore of Virginia Regional Library, Parksley. The library is hosting a training for patrons to be certified to use the Huion Art Tablet in the MakerSpace. To register call the library at 757-787-3400.

CRAFT: 6 p.m., Northampton Free Library, Nassawadox. Learn how to make yarn art during Adult Craft Night. Call the library at 757-414-0010 to register.

LIVE MUSIC: 6 to 8 p.m., Kuchisabishii, Onancock. Sean Thomas and the Kuchisabishii Jazz Trio perform live every Thursday.

LIVE MUSIC: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Cypress Park, Pocomoke City. Uprizing performs live. Bring a chair or blanket. Food trucks will be on site.

MOVIE: 7 p.m., Roseland Theatre, Onancock. Onancock International Films is screening “Solo Mio.” Tickets are $8.
