Mr. Bobby Lee Spottwood Jones was the son of the late John H. and Lucy B. Jones.
Bobby was born June 18, 1946, in Exmore. He departed peacefully on March 25, 2026, at Complete Care in Voorhees, N.J.
Bobby was raised in Northampton County and attended the local public schools. After graduation, he attended Norfolk State University. In 1965, he was drafted into the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam.
When he returned, he was stationed at Fort Carson, Colo.
After his discharge, he headed south. He went to school and became a heavy-equipment operator. He was a local union representative in Camden, N.J.
Bobby became an entrepreneur and invested in real estate.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara, three children, and two grandchildren.
A memorial service for Bobby will be at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 17450 Coal Kiln Road, Painter, on Saturday, May 2, at noon.
