The voice of Accomack and Northampton counties on Virginia’s Eastern Shore

Marion Windsor

Mar 13, 2026 | Obituaries

Mrs. Marion Lee White Windsor, 93, a resident of Onancock and the beloved wife of the late Virginius Milton “Jinks” Windsor, was welcomed into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 7, 2026.

Born Dec. 1, 1932, on Hog Island, she was the daughter of the late Arnold White and the late Naomi White Burford.

Marion graduated from Northampton High School, where she met the ever-persistent Jinks Windsor, who soon captured her heart. The two were married in 1951 and shared 63 wonderful years together, building a loving home, raising four sons, and welcoming many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Marion worked for many years as the office manager for Bagwell Oil Company, a role that often required her to wear many hats. She carried out every responsibility with efficiency, dedication, and her signature warm smile.

As the matriarch of the Windsor family, Marion embodied grace, faith, and devotion. She was a faithful servant of the Lord and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Marion was a longtime member of Onancock Baptist Church.

She enjoyed cooking and sewing and was often found tending to her flower gardens. Over the years, the Windsors created countless cherished memories — camping at local campgrounds on the Shore, watching beautiful sunsets at Silver Beach, and taking trips to Ocean City, Md. Family was always Marion’s greatest priority, and nothing brought her more joy than being surrounded by those she loved.

She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Robert Arnold Windsor, of New Church, Tommy Lee Windsor and his wife, Sallye, of Lewes, Del., and David William Windsor, of Onancock; her sister-in-law, Mary Thom Cullen; her grandchildren, Robert Lee “Bobby” Windsor (Angelica Marie), Thomas W. Windsor (Allison), Andrew D. Windsor, Terry H. Windsor (Becca), and Stephanie L. Hansen; her great-grandchildren, Chase R. Windsor, Toby Ann Windsor, Ellymae Windsor, Cody J. Hansen, Bradlee Marie Windsor, and Phillip Walter Hope; as well as many nieces and nephews and their families.

In addition to her parents and husband, Marion was reunited in heaven with her son, Terry Milton Windsor; her sister, Rebecca “Becky” Milliner; her granddaughter, Amanda Windsor; her daughter-in-law, Karen Sparrow Windsor; her brother-in-law, Winter C. Cullen III; her sister-in-law, Dimity Ruth Bledsoe; and her nephew, William “Mapp” Cullen.

Funeral services will be conducted from the chapel of the Williams-Onancock Funeral Home on Saturday, March 14, at 3 p.m., with Pastor Dustin Guidry officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Private interment will be held at the Mount Holly Cemetery.

Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made to Onancock Baptist Church, 1 Crockett Ave., Onancock, VA 23417.
