Mr. Jeffery Scott Kelley, 61, husband of Rita Hope Kelley, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2025. A native of Painter, he was the son of the late Jimmy Kelley Sr. and the late Anita Kelley. He was the owner/operator of Shore Saw and Mower, and he enjoyed NASCAR, playing slots, and working on small engines and equipment.
In addition to his loving wife of 26 years, he is survived by two stepchildren, Michelle Williams and Lee Sturgis; three stepgrandchildren, Logan Sturgis, Cooper Sturgis, and Ryan Williams; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Greg Kelley and Robert Kelley; and a sister, Kathy Harmon.
A graveside service will be conducted Friday, June 6, at 3 p.m., at the Kelley Family Cemetery, 30175 Harborton Road, Pungoteague, with Ernie Lauer officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a local Veterans of Foreign Wars post.
