Mr. Billy Chance, 82, husband of Annette Blankenship Chance and a resident of Cape Charles, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2025, at his residence.
A native of Dinwiddie, he was the son of the late William Ryas Chance and the late Frances Irene Hancock Chance. He was a truck driver for 10 years and worked as a machine operator for Brown and Williamson in Petersburg for 30 years. He loved to hunt, fish, and be outdoors.
In addition to his loving wife of 65 years, he is survived by a daughter, Crystal Bucciarelli (Lloyd); three grandchildren, Adam, Bethany, and Julia; six great-grandchildren, Kayla, Alana, Marc, Blaise, Alivia, and Marcel; and a sister, Judy Reeves. Many friends on the Eastern Shore affectionately referred to him as Santa Claus.
Per his wishes there will be no public services.
