Mr. Alexis “Alex” Komaridis, 81, of Parksley, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2024. He died the way he lived, full of fight and with family by his side. Born in Manhattan in 1942, he was the son of the late Vassillios and Kalomira Komaridis.

Alex is survived by his wife, Pamela Southworth Komaridis, of Parksley; blended family, Jennifer Newell (Mark), of Auburn, N.H., Christine Komaridis, of St. Paul, Minn., Andrea Wray (David), of Tallahassee, Fla., Kathryn Jenewein (Robert), of St. Paul, Bryan Banner (Britt), of Nassau, Bahamas, and Wesley Banner (Bekah), of Fredericksburg; brother, George Komaridis (Linnea), of Madison Lake, Minn.; grandchildren, Brendan, Hayden, Merritt, Fiona, Bailey, Tristan, Aidan, Madelyn “Mady B,” Nolan, Madelyn “Mady Moo,” Carson, Charley, and Alex; nieces and nephews, Kjirsten, Kylie, Nicky, and Scott; several grand-nieces and grand-nephews; brother-in-law, Tom Southworth (Sherry), of West Virginia; and sister-in-law, Stephanie Southworth, of West Virginia.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024, at 2 p.m., at the chapel of Williams-Onancock Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service.
