Mr. Dallas Tex Davis, 57, was born on May 21, 1966, in Nassawadox, to the late William Davis and the late Adell Davis. He departed this life on Aug. 8, 2023, at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Onancock.
Dallas, affectionately known as “Duck,” was educated in the public schools of Accomack County. Throughout his life, he worked in several industries, most recently in landscaping.
Dallas was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Wardtown, where he worshipped with his family.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, Aug. 19, 2023, from the chapel of Cooper & Humbles Funeral Co., Accomac, with the Rev. Harold E. White Sr. officiating. Interment was in the First Baptist Church Cemetery, Mappsville.
Dallas leaves to cherish his memories: four siblings, William Hill, Marshall Davis, Kenneth Davis, and Deborah Wharton; three aunts, Georgianna Sturgis, Farris Strand, and Gloria Fletcher; special friend, Darlene Coston; two stepchildren, Tylik and Treshawn; special cousin who was like a brother, Marvin Davis; four nephews; two great-nephews; six great-nieces; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Arrangements were by the Cooper & Humbles Funeral Co., Accomac.
