Two people were slain and three were injured in a series of shooting incidents in Northampton County on the morning of Monday, July 13.
In addition, a police officer was shot in his protective vest and a police officer shot the suspect, who was taken into custody.
The names of those slain have not been released. The name of the suspect also has not been released.
Northampton County Sheriff David Doughty confirmed that two people were fatally shot in an interview with WAVY-TV.
