Mr. Grayson Goode Fitzgerald, 94, of Henrico, passed away on Nov. 29, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur Fisk Fitzgerald and Fannie Grace Hamilton Fitzgerald; his brothers, Wilbur Fisk Fitzgerald Jr. and Wade Fitzgerald; his sister, Virginia Fitzgerald Jones; his wives, Lee Fitzgerald and June Fitzgerald; his granddaughter, Tabitha Wheeler; and his niece, Cindy Hopkins.
Survivors include his spouse, Patricia Kleis Fitzgerald; his daughters, Deborah Smith (Blair), Donna Fitzgerald, Barbara Drummond (Mark), and Betsy Miller (David); his stepchildren, Stephen Talley (Gail) and Robin Talley; his grandchildren, Rebecca Smith, Caroline Smith, Matthew Miller (Jane), Collin Drummond (Mary), Connor Drummond (Hannah), Christopher Wheeler, Sarah Harder (Joel), Cameron Drummond, and Rachel Miller; his great-grandchildren, Gianna Miller, Emery Miller, Jack Drummond, and Thomas Harder; his stepgrandchildren, Jessica Manning, Stephanie Talley, Kelsey Loftis (John), and Ryan Jones; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Parker Manning, Emma Manning, Lilly Manning, Andrew Loftis, Luke Loftis, and Zoey Loftis; and his nephews, Wade Fitzgerald Jr., Jay Jones, and Dr. David Jones.
Grayson graduated from MCV School of Pharmacy in 1954 and MCV School of Dentistry in 1958. He entered into the U.S. Air Force, served in Vietnam, and was honorably discharged with the final rank of captain. Grayson was a retired dentist and a former pharmacist.
He was a former member of the Hermitage and Indian Creek Country Clubs. Grayson enjoyed listening to classical music, traveling, golfing, and cooking.
A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, June 27, at 1 p.m. in Cape Charles Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sandston Presbyterian Church, 13 North Confederate Ave., Sandston, VA 23150.
