The U.S. Marshals Service arrested a man Monday, June 22, in connection with the April 19 shooting at Par 4 Bar and Grill in Temperanceville, during which a man was slain.
Terry Thomas Bragg Jr., 28, was arrested in the 500 block of Young Street, Pocomoke City, on charges of malicious shooting, shooting into an occupied building, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and reckless handling of a firearm.
Senior Inspector Robert Bowers of the U.S. Marshals Office announced the arrest in a prepared release.
All charges were related to the April shooting at the Par 4 Bar & Grill in Accomack County, which left one person dead and five injured. Bragg is the second person to be arrested in relation to the shooting.
Skylor Crippen, 35, was previously arrested by Accomack County Sheriff’s Office on April 19.
Direal Antwine Smith, 37, was slain in the shooting. Smith was a native of the Eastern Shore and attended school in Accomack County as a youth.
Smith was remembered in an outpouring on social media as a family man with a “bright, beautiful smile.”
Crippen, of Oak Hall, was charged with second-degree murder and two counts of the use of a firearm in commission of a felony.
Crippen is also charged with two counts of attempted malicious wounding of emergency medical service personnel.
Gunshots were fired at emergency medical personnel as they arrived on the scene and exited an ambulance.
Bragg was arrested without incident and is being held at the Worcester County Detention Center awaiting extradition to Virginia.
