Mr. Donald Joseph Beall, also known as “Head Honcho,” passed away Nov. 15, 2025.
He was born Sept. 11, 1961, in Baltimore, where he was raised and remained deeply committed to his roots.
Donald was preceded in death by his father, Donald LeRoy Beall, and his mother, Joan Mary Lewerz.
Donald was a resident of Eastville. He was a full-time carpenter by trade and took great pride in his work. He was also a devoted member of Alcoholics Anonymous and was 21 years sober, living by the phrase, “It works if you work it.”
He approached life with resilience, honesty, and determination.
Donald was known for his unmatched sense of humor. He was always quick to make a joke — even if the timing wasn’t quite right — and his wit and laughter left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. His humor, warmth, and presence will be deeply missed.
Donald is survived by his brothers, John Beall and David Beall; his sister, Debbie Beall; his son, Joseph Beall (Isabella); his granddaughter, Nora Beall; and his beloved, goofy dog, Cocoa.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Jan. 3, at 11 a.m., at Christ Episcopal Church, 16304 Courthouse Road, Eastville.
Donald is greatly missed and will always be remembered for his humor, his heart, and the life lessons he shared with those who loved him.
