Mr. Edward “Sonny” Thomas Williams, 88, passed away Sept. 8, 2025, in Atlantic.
Born Aug. 28, 1937, to Robert “Bob” and Nina Williams, he retired from the U.S. Coast Guard and went on to work on a clam boat. In later years he would own and operate Sonny’s Pawn Shop.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 14 years, Adelia Jones Williams; his sister, June Hancock; and his children, Allen Williams (Janice), Tabitha Borom (Matt), and Kevin Williams (Lisa); along with his grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and friends.
Sonny was preceded in death by his first wife, Lillie Birch Williams; his sons, Roger, Brian, and William “Billy” Williams; his brother, Richard “Dicky” Williams; and his sister, Blanche Williamson.
No service is planned.
