Mrs. Mary Helen Ward, 93, wife of the late Harold Fletcher Ward and a resident of Raleigh, N.C., formerly of Exmore, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2025, at UNC Health Rex in Raleigh. A native of Hacksneck, she was the daughter of the late Paul E. Miller and the late Beatrice Trader Miller.
She is survived by a son, Dennis Ward and his wife, Vicki, of Raleigh; and a granddaughter, Summer Rose Ward, of Raleigh.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 28, at 11 a.m. at Belle Haven Cemetery with the Rev. Randy Timmerman officiating. Family will join friends at the funeral home from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m.
