Mr. Robert “Bobby” Wayne Pruitt passed at his home on March 28, 2025.
Born to Bobbie Reid and Leah Godwin Pruitt on March 30, 1947, on Tangier Island, Bob loved working as a waterman and spending time with his family and friends. He was a devoted family man and friend who loved life — a gentleman who will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanne; his daughters, Julia Gregory (Andre) and April Black (Corey); his grandchildren, Alexis Bloxom, Lucas Black, Rakiem Bailey, Chelsea Bailey, Legend Gregory, and Elliott Wright. Bob is also survived by his sister, Judy Bradshaw, and several cousins.
He was honored by family and friends at a celebration of life on April 13, 2025.
