Here’s what is known about the Northampton County Thursday night shooting:
Did anyone die?
Yes. Vantrell C. Williams, 22, who has an address of Harwood Street, Richmond, was killed by gunfire on Thursday, Jan. 9, near Eastville.
Is there any threat the public?
According to state police, there is “no other danger to the general public.”
Where did it start?
State police said the shooting happened at the intersection of Pauline Street and Seaside Road.
This is near Eastville on Seaside Road, just north of Indiantown Road.
It is where Williams was found, mortally wounded.
Why was the Nassawadox convenience store that once was a Shore Stop location involved?
Technically, it wasn’t involved.
But shortly after police were called to the Pauline Street shooting, state police received another call — reporting that family members had driven a male victim to the former Shore Stop location at the intersection of Rogers Drive and Lankford Highway.
Was the Eastville convenience store once known as Shore Stop involved?
State police did not mention anything about the Eastville convenience store.
What caused this?
State police: “At this time, it is uncertain what caused the shootings, but the shootings appear to have occurred at the same time and location.”
