Mr. James J. Nadeau, better known as “Jimbo,” husband of Lanie Nadeau, died Wednesday, June 26, at the age of 65. He was a resident of Exmore and formerly of Plainville, Conn.
Jim was one of the best mechanics on the Eastern Shore. He retired after over 25 years from Butch’s Cars and Parts. He was an avid car enthusiast, Mr. Fixer of all things, and enjoyed fishing. He loved to tell stories and never knew a stranger. His greatest pride was seeing his girls play softball for many years and was known as “Team Mom.” His greatest joy was the love for his family and being a Pop-Pop.
He is survived by the love of his life and wife, Lanie Nadeau; his parents, Jean and Maureen Nadeau; daughters, Cassie Nadeau and Taylor Nadeau (Ra’Quan Anderson); grandson, Ra’Karri Anderson; sister, Laurie Fasolo (Fred); brother, Scott Nadeau (Mattie); numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and his best friend, Pete Williams.
A private service will be held at a later date.
