Mrs. Betty Mae Rose, 86, wife of the late James L. Rose Sr. and a resident of Cedar View Beach, Va., passed away Monday, Nov. 20, 2023, at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Onancock.
A native of Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Pedersen and the late Lillian Ridgway Pedersen. She was retired from Lever Brothers.
She is survived by two children, James L. Rose Jr. and Kelly Belge; two sisters, Janet D’Annunzio and Patsy Weedon; three grandchildren, Samantha Beasley and her husband, Christopher, Michael Belge, and Jessica Sellars; and six great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Phelps, Hazel Belge, Adrianna Belge, Michael Belge, Kody Sellars, and Kyla Sellars.
She was predeceased by a sister, Nancy Meadows, and a son, Michael Rose.
A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, Dec. 16, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Craddockville United Methodist Church.
