Mrs. Frances West, beloved daughter of the late Elijah Baker and the late Mazie Finney, was born on July 3, 1932. She departed this life on Sept. 19, 2023, at Shore Health and Rehab Center in Parksley.
Frances was united in holy matrimony many years ago with the late Nelson West. Frances worked for many years as a dietary aide at Arcadia Nursing Home.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, Sept. 30, 2023, at the Chapel of Cooper & Humbles Funeral Co., Accomac, with Pastor Quintavion Washington officiating. Interment was in the Wharton Cemetery, Parksley.
Frances leaves to cherish her loving memory: her daughter, Varletta Dennis; siblings, Rachel Baker, Daisy Bailey, and Ross Bailey; grandchildren, Catina Taylor, Latroy Dennis, Anita Seidu, Demetrice West, Elijah West, Ineta Ward, and Karen Onley; 20 great-grandchildren; and a host of great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Arrangements were by the Cooper & Humbles Funeral Co., Accomac.
