Mr. Richard H. Peoples Sr., of Eastville, born May 11, 1941, to the late Leon Peoples and the late Albertina Collins Peoples, departed this life on Aug. 17, 2023.
Richard Peoples was loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Mary Bell Peoples; son, Richard Peoples Jr.; daughter, Shawna Peoples; grandson, Richard Peoples III; his sisters, Edna Peoples and Chiquita Peoples Love; brother-in-law, Charles Bell; sister-in-law, Delcia Staten; goddaughter, Charlette Crowell; and a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at Bethel AME Church in Eastville on Saturday, Aug. 26, 2023, at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Michael Gray. Visitation and viewing will be at noon.
