Mr. Kenneth E. Hall Sr., 75, of Bloxom, husband of Cathaleen Turner Hall, passed away on Feb. 17, 2023, at his residence.
Born on Jan. 16, 1948, in Saxis, he was the son of the late Bernard K. Hall Jr. and the late Eleanor Lewis Hall. Kenneth was a USDA inspector for over 38 years and a member of the Virginia National Guard for 11 years. He was an electronics hobbyist and enjoyed tinkering with video and stereo equipment.
Other than his wife, Cathaleen, Kenneth is survived by a son, Kenneth Hall Jr. of Atlantic; step-daughter, Cheritta Tull of Temperanceville; step-son, Phillip Tull of Temperanceville; sister, Pat Linton, and her spouse, O’Neil, of Atlantic; brother, Rex Hall, and his spouse, Ellen, of Chincoteague; brother-in-law, Wayne Hill, of Sanford; two grandsons, Jacob Hall and Chaz Tull; granddaughter, Courtney Tull; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Margie Hill.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2023, at 11 a.m., from John W. Taylor Cemetery, with Pastor Wayne Hill officiating.
