Mrs. Linda Marie Eder, 73, wife of the late Robert Lee Eder Sr. and a resident of Cape Charles, passed away Sunday, Jan. 15, 2023, at her residence. A native of Cape Charles, she was the daughter of the late Charles Edward Gray and the late Mary Ella Davis Gray. She was a retired toll collector for the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel and loved cross-stitching, crocheting, and gardening.
She is survived by two sons, Billy O’Leary and his husband, Paul, of Norfolk, and Robert Eder Jr. and his wife, Wendy, of Cape Charles; seven grandchildren, Hannah, Ethan, Savannah, Ella, Caleb, Charlotte, and Isaiah; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted Monday, January 23, 2023, at 1 p.m. at Cape Charles Cemetery with the Rev. Jeff Conrow officiating. Family will join friends at Wilkins-Doughty Funeral Home Monday morning from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
