Mrs. Amy Kleger, 86, of Salisbury, Md., passed away peacefully Friday, Jan. 13, 2023, at Coastal Hospice At The Lake in Salisbury. Born in Onancock, she was the daughter of the late Carroll D. Hutchinson Jr. and the late Katherine Kelley Hutchinson Mrs. Kleger of Onley. A sister was the late Carolyn Hutchinson Hubbard, formerly of Salisbury. Amy is survived by Terry Kleger, her husband of 57 years, a daughter Cheryl K. Robbins (Phillip) of Salisbury, sons William Louis Kleger of Salisbury, and Michael Carroll Kleger (Cindy) of Hebron; three grandchildren, Matthew Kleger of Hebron, Melissa Kleger of Salisbury, and Kelly Wilkins of Hebron; and eight great-grandchildren.

After graduating from Onancock High School, class of 1954, Amy continued her education at Goldey Beacom Business College in Wilmington, Del. Amy met Terry in the early 1960s when they were both working at WESR radio in Virginia. They were married in 1965 and soon after relocated to Salisbury. Amy worked most of her career as a medical and dental secretary in Salisbury.

A funeral service was held at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury. Interment was in Beth Israel Cemetery, Salisbury.

In lieu of flowers a donation to a favorite charity may be considered. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home, P.A., 501 Snow Hill Road, Salisbury, MD 21804.
