Bobbie Loflin

Mrs. Bobbie Lake Bradford Loflin, 96, passed away Sept. 29, 2022. She was born in Daugherty on July 23, 1926, a daughter to John William and Rennie Rew Bradford. She lived in the same house she was born in, part of which was built by her daddy, for 90 years. Her daughter moved her to Oregon after the death of her husband, Colon Loflin, in 2017.
Bobbie loved her family very much; they meant everything to her. Bobbie liked all kinds of sports but softball was her favorite and she was very active in her younger years. She and Colon liked to dance and they went somewhere almost every weekend with friends.
She worked at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard during WWII and that’s where she met Colon. They were married Feb. 15, 1946, and were married for 71 years. She worked as a bookkeeper for the Eastern Shore News, Glick’s Clothing Store, and Lance J. Eller Construction.

She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Loflin Minehan (John), of Dallas, Ore.; one grandson, John Minehan Jr. (Tracey), of Craig, Colo.; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
