Mrs. Bertha A. Crosby, 66, of New Church, answered the voice of her Lord and Savior on Aug. 7, 2022, at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital, Onancock.
Born in Accomack County, she was the beloved daughter of the late Frank Crosby Jr. and the late Flossie Crosby. She was affectionately known as “Bert” by her family and friends. Bertha worked at Tyson Foods until her health began to fail.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022, at the chapel of Cooper & Humbles Funeral Co., Accomac, with Elder Raymond Lee officiating. Interment was in the Groton Community Cemetery, Messongo.
Bertha leaves to cherish her memories: her daughter, Prestine Crosby; sons, Ralph Crosby and Regis Crosby; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Rice; brothers, Robert and Dorsey Crosby; one brother-in-law; fiancé, William Corbin; and a host of other relatives and close friends.
Arrangements are by the Cooper & Humbles Funeral Co., Accomac.
