Central Accomack Little League’s senior softball team competed in the Southeast Region Senior League Softball Tournament in Salisbury, N.C., this past weekend as Team Virginia. On Saturday, July 23, Virginia defeated Georgia 2-0 to advance to a championship game against Florida.

The win came following a strong performance by Reghan Hintz on the pitcher’s mound, high-quality defense, and  a succesful offensive third inning that included a home run by Desiree LeCates-Brown, a triple by Peyton Truckner, and a hard hit by Chloe Hall.

In the championship game, Virginia lost 11-0 to conclude the 2022 CALL season as second in the southeast region.
