Ms. Mary Gayle Parker Moses, 82, passed away in Bedford, N.H., on June 13, 2022, after a lengthy battle with dementia.

Born on April 26, 1940, in Charlottesville, Va., she was the daughter of the late Henry Riley Parker and the late Emma Littleton Parker. Mary is a graduate of Atlantic High School in Oak Hall and attended Radford University in Radford, Va. She was a member of the Bloxom Methodist church.

During her younger years, Mary lived in Virginia Beach for a period and later travelled extensively with her family while living in Bitburg, Germany. Following her return to the United States, she resided in Massachusetts. She returned to Bloxom in the mid 90s to care for her mother until her passing in 2001. Shortly thereafter, Mary relocated to New Hampshire where she resided in Manchester, N.H., always reflecting on her beloved state of Virginia, especially Virginia Beach.

Mary is survived by her longtime companion, William Baker, of Nashua, N.H.; her son, Todd Moses (Vickie), of Merritt Island, Fla.; her daughter, Tiffany Moses, of Amherst, N.H.; and five grandsons, Nicholas Moses (Paige), of Orlando, Fla., Sean Moses, of Merritt Island, Fla., Ian Moses (Taylor), of Merritt Island, Evan Martin, of Amherst, and Gavin Martin, of Amherst.

Arrangements are by the Thornton Funeral Home in Parksley, and interment will be at the Parksley Cemetery.
