Warriors Girls Soccer Team Gets a Win Over Arcadia Firebirds

The Nandua Warriors girls soccer team traveled to Arcadia on Monday, May 2. The Lady Warriors came out strong in the first half with a goal by Nathaly Perez, assisted by Rochelle Rivera. Nandua continued to fight in throughout the game with Mackenzie Parks scoring another goal in the second half. Arcadia was able to get on the scoreboard late in the game, but it was not enough to take down the Lady Warriors. The final score was 2-1. 

Nandua extended its record to 5-3 overall and 2-1 in the district. The Lady Warriors were scheduled to compete Wednesday, May 4 against a tough Northampton team in Eastville, but the game was postponed due to inclement weather. Arcadia traveled to Seaford, Del., on Wednesday and defeated the Bluejays, 11-1.
