Pictured above are Coach George Dix and Parker Murphy, both McDaniel Green Terrors from the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Parker Murphy is from Onancock and Dix is from Greenbush. Parker and Dix had a chance to talk at the recent dedication of the new Terror softball scoreboard. The scoreboard dedication to Dix is because of his many accomplishments at McDaniel. Dix was head coach from 1989-2004 and recognized as one of the most successful coaches in Division III history. He was not only successful in the win column, but with his winning percentage as well. He was inducted into the Green Terror Hall of Fame in 2003 and will be remembered as one of the greatest coaches in McDaniel history. Submitted photo.
