Mrs. Margaret B. Matthews, 97, of Pocomoke City, Md., received her wings on Friday, March 25, 2022, at Shore Health & Rehab Center in Parksley.
Born in Keller, Margaret was the beloved daughter of the late Arthur Duncan Sr. and the late Beulah Duncan. She was married to William Matthews (now deceased).
She gave her life to Christ at an early age. Throughout her life, Margaret read the Bible daily and continued to study the Bible until her passing. She was a member of the United Christian Church in Parksley for many years.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 2, 2022, at the chapel of Cooper & Humbles Funeral Co., Accomac, with Pastor William Cathell officiating. Interment was in the United Christian Church Cemetery, Parksley.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories: her children, Elizabeth Fitchett, Albert Bunting Sr., Dorothy Custis, Robert Bunting Sr., Mary Mills, and Calvin Bunting Sr.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Arrangements are by the Cooper & Humbles Funeral Co., Accomac.
