Nandua Warriors Defeat Yellow Jackets in No-Hitter

The Lady Warriors hosted the Northampton Lady Yellow Jackets on March 22. Nandua started strong on offense scoring one in the first inning. They continued to pound the ball in the second inning adding another three runs, two of which were driven in on a double by Logan Woermer. Nandua continued to pull away in the fourth with a score of 9-1 going into the fifth inning. 

Reghan Hintz earned the victory for Nandua in the circle. Hintz threw five innings allowing zero hits and one run, striking out 11. The Warriors racked up a total of nine hits in the game. Hintz and Woermer each had three hits to lead Nandua. The Lady Warriors improved their record to 3-0 with the 11-1 victory over district rival Northampton. Nandua is set to play again Friday against Decatur in Berlin, Md., while Northampton hosts Colonial Beach.
