Mrs. Dallas F. Mayo, 79, of Oak Hall, was called home Friday, March 4, 2022, at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Onancock.

Born in Elizabeth City, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Bishop Willis Frazier and the late Juanita S. Frazier. She was affectionately known as “Dally” by her family and friends. On April 7, 1960, Dally married John D. Mayo. They shared 52 years of love. She was a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church, Temperanceville.

Funeral services were held Saturday, March 12, 2022, at Jerusalem Baptist Church, Temperanceville, with the Rev. Richard Holland officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.

Dally leaves to cherish her loving memories: her husband, John D. Mayo; son, Leon Burton; sister, Juanita Andrews; dear friend who was like a sister, Marilyn Fullman; sister-in-law, Ruth Clemmins; brother-in-law, Mack Mayo; her devoted caregivers, Christine Miller, Dexter Miller, Joyce Watson, Brenda Gandy, Jackie Douglas, and Daniel Douglas; close friend, Deloris Bailey; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Arrangements are by the Cooper & Humbles Funeral Co., Accomac.
