An Accomack County Grand jury has handed down the following indictments: 

  • Taylor Clark, 27, of Temperanceville, was indicted on charges of use of employment in commission of another crime and attempted false statement to obtain credit, in connection with incidents Aug. 13, 2019, and Sept. 5, 2019. 
  • Leon W. Morris, 63, of Accomac, was indicted on charges of unlawful wounding and malicious wounding, in connection with a Nov. 5, 2021, incident. 
  • Darell Owentel Pettit, 29, of Westover, Md., was indicted on charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm while a protective order in effect, in connection with a Nov. 13, 2021, incident. 
  • Timothy John VanHart, 25, of Oak Hall, was indicted on charges of burglary and grand larceny, in connection with a Sept. 4, 2021, incident; and armed burglary, attempted burglary, and property destruction, in connection with a Sept. 14, 2021, incident. 
  • Richar Vasquez Valdez, 29, of Parksley, was indicted on a charge of unlawful wounding, in connection with a Sept. 19, 2021, incident. 
  • Christina Hickman, 46, of New Church, was indicted on a charge of malicious maiming, in connection with a June 12, 2021, incident. 
  • Vassean Maurice Armstrong, 35, of Atlantic, was indicted on a charge of abduction, in connection with an incident between July 31 and Aug. 1, both in 2021. Ra-Shaun Anthony Brown Jr., 25, of Atlantic, was indicted on a charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, in connection with a Nov. 13, 2021, incident. 
  • Cadeem Bresean Baines, 27, of Parksley, was indicted on a charge of possession of cocaine, in connection with a June 22, 2021, incident. 
  • Meiah Sheree Milbourne, 23, of Onancock, was indicted on charges of burglary, and stealing and converting a lottery ticket, in connection with 2021 incidents: Sept. 20, Sept. 22, Oct. 19, and Oct. 22; and burglary, in connection with an Oct. 25, 2021, incident. 
  • Joshua Michael Green, 25, of Chincoteague, was indicted on a charge of making a false statement on firearm transaction records, in connection with a Dec. 1, 2021, incident. 
  • Jewel Latrice Johnson, 33, of Pocomoke City, Md.. was indicted on a charge of malicious bodily injury, in connection with a Dec. 1, 2021, incident.
