Dear Editor:
My name is Whitney White, sister to ninth grade starter Jaylen Anderson for Northampton High School. I understand the Yellow Jackets’ game was on a Wednesday night, and your papers are printed and out by Friday, but I think my brother and his teammates deserve a little more credit than what was published (Jan. 21). The previous week, you guys posted Northampton with a loss, but they had a huge picture and article. Even in this Post that I’m writing about, Nandua is glorified, and also has a player with a picture posted for their win against Arcadia.
This was a huge district win for those guys. I think they deserve a lot more than a paragraph or two. Jaylen had an awesome run, and yes, I would like to see his picture, in addition to “a series of 3-pointers by Jaylen Anderson helped give the Yellow Jackets a comfortable lead,” description that is very rushed.
