Ms. Rebecca Starr Tyndall, 43, a resident of Assawoman, passed away Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022, at her residence. A native of Atlantic, she was the daughter of Paul William Tyndall and Mary Lou Belote Tyndall, of Quinby. She was a homemaker; “grew up” at Atlantic Fire Company; loved animals, especially frogs and cats; loved flowers, stars, reading Nora Roberts, and children, and always had an open door for the neighborhood kids.
In addition to her loving parents, she is survived by two children, Kristel Jazlyn “Jazzy” Tyndall and her fiancé, Kurtis Wayne Webster, of New Church, and Alexander F. Donellan, of Oak Hall; sister, Michelle Lee Tyndall, of Wattsville; uncle, Larry Tyndall, and his wife, Sybil, of Florida; aunts, Judith Wallace and her husband, Lowell, of Florida, and Cheryl Ann Fox and her husband, Dale, of Chincoteague; and many cousins.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted Friday, Jan. 21, 2022, at 7 p.m., at Doughty Funeral Home with David MacPartland officiating. Family will join friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. A gathering will be held Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022, at 3 p.m., at Atlantic Fire House, 10071 Atlantic Road, Atlantic, VA 23303.
