Mrs. Peggy B. Brown, 83, passed away Nov. 15, 2021, with her family by her side in Fredericksburg, Va., at peace and reunited in death with her beloved husband, Conrad I. Brown.
Peggy was born in Cape Charles to Edna and Walter Bowen. She always said Cape Charles was a great place to grow up.
A woman who loved everything about learning and traveling, Peggy overcame a deep fear of flying to travel to Europe and see the world. She loved her garden and her cats, and was always cooking and entertaining friends and family. Classical music filled her home, astrology kept her eyes on the stars, and she couldn’t wait for Christmas every year.
Peggy was predeceased by her parents and husband. She is survived by her brother, Aaron Lee Bowen (Sandy); her daughters, Denise Golinowski (Joe) and Deanna Shenn; grandson, Carl P. Brown Jr. (Erin); great-grandchildren, Lucas, Alanna, and Nikolas; and great-great-grandchild, Cayden; as well as nieces and nephews.
