Mr. Gene H. Crockett, 84, died Nov. 7, 2021.
Mr. Crockett was born on Tangier Island, and was the son of the late Mr. William Harrison Crockett and the late Mrs. Ina V. Crockett. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Turlington Crockett. Other than his parents, Mr. Crockett was predeceased by his halfsister, Mrs. Irene Crockett Hundley Maurer. He served in the U.S. Army and retired as an executive vice president from Mercantile Bank in Onley.
A memorial service will be conducted from the graveside at Fairview Lawn Cemetery in Onancock Thursday, Nov. 18, 2021, at noon, with Pastor Paul Nolz officiating.
