Mrs. Stephanie Brook Bailey Northan, 49 of Delmar, Md., formerly of Parksley, passed away Oct. 15, 2021, at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin, Md.

Stephanie was born May 31, 1972, a daughter to Billie J. Whitelock (Darryl K.), of Parksley, and the late Stephen E. Feeney Sr. She was raised in Parksley by her grandparents, the late William A and Ada B. Bailey, whom she dearly loved.

She worked as a certified nursing assistant for several years until she and her husband launched a trucking business called Northan Transport.

Stephanie was a loving and dedicated mother. She enjoyed preparing food and spending time with family and friends during cookouts. Entertaining and keeping everyone laughing was her gift. She loved visiting Ocean City, Md., to stop at her favorite place for dessert, Dumser’s Ice Cream Shop. She was a passionate lover of motorcycle races and loved planning her next getaway. One of the highlights of her life was spending time with her grandchildren, Ai’Yanna and Dakari.

Stephanie is survived by the love of her life, Stewart L. Northan Jr. In addition to her loving husband of 25 years, she is survived by her loving daughter, JoAnna Brook Stewart (Robert Waters); loving granddaughter,  Ai’Yanna Waters (Me Me’s baby), all of Delmar;  two stepdaughters, Charmaine Northan (Pop), of Chesapeake, Va., and Charmeka Northan, of Parksley; step-grandson, Da’Kari Northan, of Parksley; two stepsons, Kenoka and Keyron Bess; two sisters, Marcella Feeney, of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Julie Pruitt (Isaac), of Parksley;  two stepsisters, Heather Woodall, of Green Castle, Ind., and Tiffany Whitelock, of Wisconsin; her aunts and uncle, Dru and Michael Haspert, of Onancock, and Marcella Harrington, of Warsaw; brother-in-law, Tony Northan (Andrea), of Gargatha; sister-in-law, Jennifer Northan, of Parksley; special nieces and nephews, Corey Wise, Jordan Banks, and Amari Veney, all of Cincinnati, Cameron Townsend and Bella Mya Townsend, of Parksley; special cousin, Al Schaffner of Warsaw, Va.; special friends whom she loved liked her sisters, Tammie Martin and Yolanda Hickman; special brother, Henry Hickman; several other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In addition to her father and grandparents, she was preceded in death by her son, Stewart L. Northan III (Lil Pluck); brother, Stephen E. Feeney Jr.; and stepdaughter, Keyina (Wine) Bess.

Services will be held Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021, at 1 p.m., at Wicomico Youth and Civic Center, Salisbury, MD 21801.

The service is entrusted to Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Salisbury.
