Mr. Billy Wayne Fisher, Billy Wayne Fisher, 78, husband of Mary Frances “Fran” Fisher and a resident of Parksley, passed away peacefully Sunday, Oct. 10, 2021, at his home while surrounded by his loving family. Born Sept. 23, 1943, in Marvell, Ark., he was the son of the late Henry and Josephine Fisher.
Billy spent a majority of his career driving for Perdue Farms. He was “old school” in every sense of the way, Billy was an “old school” truck driver for Perdue Farms.
Billy had a great sense of humor; he was loved by many and will be truly missed by all his family and friends.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Rhonda English, of Holly Springs, N.C., JoAnna Rose and her husband, Christopher, of Clayton, N.C., Les Fisher and his wife, Oksana, of Chester, Md., Brooks Fisher and his wife, Akari, of Bradenton, Fla., Linda Burford, of Princess Anne, Md., Deborah Wright, of Temperanceville, Christine Michaud, of Pocomoke, Md., and Richard Michaud, of Biddeford, Maine; sister, Virginia Sovia, of Sevierville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Holly Labrosse, Brenna English, Alex and Jacob Rose, Matthew, Adam, and Emma Fisher, and Bryce, Aaliyah, and Bianca Fisher; and great-grandchildren, Tully Labrosse and Cody English. Other than his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Eddie Fisher.
