Staff Report —

No one was injured when the driver of a pickup truck crashed into the Corner Mart convenience store in Temperanceville Friday.
The crash happened around 8:51 a.m., according to Virginia State Police spokeswoman Sgt. Michelle Anaya.
The driver of a 2003 Ford F150, Christopher Glenn Evans, 37, of New Church, was traveling north on Route 13 when he lost control of the truck and ran off the roadway into the grassy median, then struck a fuel pump and a parked vehicle before crashing into the store.
Speed was a contributing factor, according to Anaya.
