Scott Webb Memorial Scholarships Awarded to Northampton Students

The Scott Webb Youth Enrichment Scholarship was set up this year in memory of Scott Webb, who was instrumental in promoting athletics at all levels on the Shore. Applicants were chosen from submissions from Northampton County student athletes, with an intended use for a range of programs.

The following are this year’s recipients.

  • Lyric Brickhouse, freshman at Northampton High School. Brickhouse is using the award to attend the Hampton Headliner Volleyball Showcase.
  • Trent Ferebee, seventh grader at Northampton Middle School. Ferebee will be using the award to attend the Boy Scouts of America National Youth Leadership training.
  • Emily Kellam, senior at Northampton High School. Kellam will be using the college scholarship to attend Virginia Tech in the fall.
  • Mollie Travis, senior at Northampton High School. Travis will be using the college scholarship to attend James Madison University in the fall.
  • Olivia Peart, senior at Northampton High School. Peart will be using the college scholarship to attend JMU in the fall.
