Mr. DeAndre L. Ridley, 32, of Delmar, Md., departed this life Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021, at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury, Md.
Born in Nassawadox, Deandre was the son of Tammy R. Conquest and the late Preston L. Downing. He was affectionately known as “Ionnie” by his family and friends. After graduation, he joined the workforce, becoming an assistant manager at McDonald’s and Family Dollar. His last place of employment was at the LaQuinta Inn in Salisbury. He was the assistant manager until his health began to fail.
Private funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021, at the Chapel of Cooper & Humbles Funeral Co., Accomac, with the Rev. Gary Miller officiating. Interment was in the Wharton Cemetery, Parksley.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his parents, Ermon and Tammy Conquest; sister, DeAnna R. Harris; two nieces; grandmothers, Grace Ridley and Leaner Conquest; eight aunts; four uncles; and a host of other relatives and friends.
